House in Siran to let

Our house in Siran, Languedoc, France is a 3 storey stone village house situated in the middle of the medieval village.

It has a sunny secluded roof terrace with spectacular views of the mountains and scenery, with BBQ and garden furniture for al fresco dining and sunbathing.

The house provides very comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people, plus a cot for a baby and high chair for the tiny ones. The beds all have duvets. All the equipment is new and includes vacuum cleaner, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, electric hob and full size oven, kettle, toaster, TV.

It has been furnished in a traditional French style, and all the bedrooms have the original stone or wooden floors and the rooms have exposed beams. There is a wood burner fire in the lounge and electric radiators in all the rooms.

Siran Village, Hérault, Languedoc, France

Siran is a picturesque village near Olonzac, in the heart of the Minervois wine growing district. A small and welcoming village of approximately 600 residents with a network of narrow streets at its centre.

The house overlooks Siran’s ancient church that has a clock tower which is a remnant of the former Castle of Siran.

Though small, Siran has a few local shops you may want to know about: the boulangerie (for daily fresh bread, savouries and patisserie) is just 2 mins from the house as is the Vival Grocery! The "Le Minervois Bar" recently renovated is a good place for a coffee or something stronger.

Furthermore there is a post office, several wine producers, the village pump and a well preserved weighbridge!

Siran also has the original Chateau of Siran that is now a first class hotel / restaurant.
